Nottingham footballing legend and City of Football ambassador Viv Anderson is helping to launch a series of brand new football sessions for men over 40 who want to get back into the game.
The ‘Rusty Returners’ sessions which are in partnership with Nottingham City Council’s FREEsport programme, will be launched on Wednesday April 27, at Southglade Leisure Centre from 7-9pm, by the former Nottingham Forest and England defender, who has previously supported the work of Nottingham City of Football across the city.
Free tea & coffee, sports massages and live music is on offer for all taking part in the launch session.
After the launch Rusty Returners sessions will run every Wednesday from 7.30-8.30pm at Southglade Leisure Centre, Southglade Rd, Nottingham NG5 5GU
So dust off the old boots and come along (with a few mates if you can)
