Today we are launching a brand new competition to find the next generation of football vloggers. Are you aged 13-18? Do you live in Nottinghamshire? Do you have what it takes?
We’ve been bringing football to people across Nottingham, attending events and running sessions with some brilliant coaches. We’ve seen loads of locals being bitten by the footie bug– and now we’re taking our mission to the next level. If you’re dreaming of Youtube stardom and are a dab hand with a camera, listen up!
Now we have launched a brand new competition to find the next generation of football vloggers.
The conditions are simple: you have to live in Nottinghamshire, you have to be aged 13-18, and you have to want to share your football journey with the world. But - and this bit is important - you don’t have to be any good at football!
Have you had to overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle to play? Perhaps you’ve never played but would secretly like to try? Are you sick of being overlooked in goal? Maybe you only kick about a ball with your mates and don’t play properly?
If you feel you’ve got something to share and can give us a glimpse into your footballing story– whatever it is– then we want to hear from you.
Starting today until midnight on Friday 25 September 2015, applications will be open for two inspired and inspiring vloggers (one male and one female) to tell us about their football journey– whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for a while, we want you to excite us!
The two competition winners will become the Official Sport England City of Football Vloggers for a full year.

Any of that sound up your street? Good news: entering couldn’t be easier. You can submit your entry to the first round in one of two ways:
1) Upload your picture or video (15 seconds max) to Instagram and tag us in your entry before midnight on 25 September 2015. You can tag us with @NottinghamCOF– make sure you include your full name and age with your entry.
Or:
2) Upload your picture or video (no time limit) to our Facebook page before midnight on Friday 25 September 2015. Make sure you include your age. Easy as that! We’ll then be in touch via social media if you’re selected for the second and third rounds.
